Andhra Pradesh, Assembly witnessed extremely fast paced action today as the desired opposition leader YS Jagan and his YCP MLAs made a quick entry and exit.
First, YS Jagan and the YCP MLAs sang the national anthem, Jana Gana Mana. Later, during the Governor’s speech, the YCP MLAs raised slogans, shouting, “Law and order must be saved.”
This was seen as a degree of disrespect towards the Governor, who was addressing the House ahead of the Assembly sessions. Following this, they exited the Assembly.
Incidentally, Jagan held a placard with a bright smile and it read “ They don’t give the opposition status. And they don’t let us question the law and order situation in the state.”
Ideally, there must have been a constructive debate on this matter if YCP had a real intention of solving the issue in the public forum. But Jagan and his team of MLAs decided to create a scene in the assembly and quickly exited the premises which appeared to be a part of the elaborate plan that was devised much earlier.
It was an interesting visual to see Jagan, Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan in the Assembly House, but this lasted very briefly as Jagan left the premises just minutes after the start of the session.
