The Indian Parliament witnessed a very interesting series of events today as the opposition leader, Rahul Gandhi sprang to action and tried his best to irk the ruling NDA alliance and its ministers.
“Many software engineers may be replaced by AI. We are moving into a turbulent, dangerous world.” Rahul Gandhi said as he warned the Parliament about the kind of impact that AI will be having on the domestic and international workforce in this software industry.
This is something that the central government must also address and prepare an adequate gameplan to counter the shift in the job market due to AI.
This was followed with a sharp remark by Rahul Gandhi on the deals that the Indian government has been striking with United state president, Donald Trump. He pointed that Prime Minister Modi has completely surrendered to Trump and this is why India is getting bad deals from the United States.
And then Rahul Gandhi took part in some peculiar action outside the Parliament as he came face-to-face with railway minister, Ashwini Vaishnav.
While the railway minister was accusing Rahul Gandhi of misleading the house by presenting false data, the opposition later challenged him for a mutual debate then and there, which prompted the minister to walk away, rather than addressing him.
All in all, Rahul Gandhi had a very impressive and eventful day in the parliament as he appeared to be in his element while taking the NDA to the cleaners on several issues.
