How YCP Tenure Case Keeping Ambati Rambabu In Jail?

YSR Congress senior leader Ambati Rambabu had managed to secure bail in connection with two cases, one being the abuses on CM Chandrababu and the other being Guntur rally against medical colleges in PPP model. 

Ideally, Rambabu should have been released on bail on February 12. However, that is not going to be the case now as an additional PT warrant has been issued by a court this evening, which would further delay his release from jail. 

The thing here is that this PT warrant has been issued in connection with a case that has been filed during the YCP government tenure, as ironic as it may sound. 

Incidentally, Rambabu is one of the accused in the case related to the withholding of pensions for the lottery dip program during the Sankranti season in 2023. Ironically, the case was filed against the then MLA when his own party, YCP, was in power.

This case was dug up by the police today and they filed for a PT warrant which was approved by the Guntur Court. This would essentially mean that Rambabu will have to secure bail even in this case if he is to be released from prison. 

But the sad thing for this senior leader is that it would take a lot more time to secure bail in this lottery dip case, meaning he wouldn’t be released from the jail tomorrow as expected.
