Just Before Election, CM Credits 5000 In Bank Accounts!

Tamil Nadu elections are first approaching as the Assembly poles are likely to be held in around two months from now. While the state is preparing for what appears to be an intense election battle, chief minister, Stalin has done something very interesting.

Earlier in the day today, chief minister Stalin announced that his government is crediting ₹5000 in the bank accounts of 1.31 crore women in Tamil Nadu today.

This is essentially an advanced program as the government has been crediting ₹1000 per month in the bank accounts of women since the formation of DMK government.

But considering that the election season is fast approaching, the DMK Government apparently suspects hardships from Election commission regarding cash programmes and hence the chief minister credited the money today itself. This is advance payment for the months February, March, and April, adding another Rs 2000 as summer bonus.

It is reported that the DMK supporters are extremely confident about the election as this new cash deposit program that got completed today could very well change the tide in their favour. Certain political experts are calling it a masterstroke by chief minister Stalin before the election.

On the other hand, the opposition parties are saying that the ruling Government is trying to buy votes by giving lump-sum money before the polls and calling it unconstitutional.
