Will Postal Vote Trend Continue?

Published by

In the postal votes, BJP is clearly ahead of the TRS. This has come as a major shock to the ruling TRS.  In the 141 divisions out of the 150 divisions, BJP is leading in 85 divisions, TRS is leading in 37 divisions, MIM is leading in 17 divisions and Congress is leading in 2 divisions.

Employees, educated, who are considered to have used postal votes, seem to have voted for the Lotus. This has given a clear edge for the BJP.
However, postal votes cannot be considered as the trend.

While BJP is quite upbeat about its dominance in the postal votes, BJP is confident of repeating the same trend in the ballot votes as well. BJP leaders say that the party shown similar dominance in the Dubbak by-election. BJP says they welcome the result. Meanwhile, TRS leaders say that postal votes need not be mistaken as the full trend. TRS leaders say that the party will show its strength once the counting of the ballot votes begin as it would reflect the pulse of mass.

Since the main ballot votes are yet to be counted, one has to wait and watch for the final counting. The moot question remains will the postal vote trend continue?
