Jagan‘s Outdated Talk: Who Wrote The Script?

Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy addressed the media about the recently tabled Budget. On expected lines, he tried his best to say the budget and the numbers are completely farce.

In the middle of the Talk, Jagan Mohan Reddy made a comment about Nara Lokesh.

“Lokesh went all the way to Colombo to watch the match. He is in Vijayawada next morning and Delhi that evening. All these are private flights. Why not watch the match on TV? Is this the way responsible leaders do? Even I watched the match on TV,” Jagan said.

This particular clip of Jagan is going viral on social media. People are mocking Jagan saying he may have skipped the Assembly so that he can watch the proceedings on TV.

Jagan is seen reading even these portions from a script written by someone. We can clearly see him reading from the notes multiple times for that one sentence.

That would leave us wondering who wrote such an outdated script for the former Chief Minister.

Not just Lokesh, everyone on the globe with access to TV have the provision to watch the match at the comfort of their homes. But why are the Stadiums packed?

The experience of watching a cricket match on Television and from the stadium are quite different. That is the reason why millions of fans travel miles to watch the matches in stadiums.

There is also a reason why leaders like KTR and Lokesh watch Cricket Matches live because it is a way to look younger and connect with the GenZ Crowd. If you cannot lower the age, you should give an impression that your thoughts are young. Jagan Mohan Reddy will now come across as a boring person to such group.

Coming to the Private Flights allegation, Lokesh already clarified the he paid for his flight ticket and match ticket. If misusing the Public money is the point, Jagan should have given proofs to say Lokesh did otherwise.

As far as the allegation that responsible leaders should not waste time traveling to cricket Stadiums, it is poor mindset. Even the leaders have a life and they should take time off from their busy schedules for their Personal Lives and desires. That is called ‘Work Life Balance‘.

If Jagan is saying that is bad, it is again medivial mindset. Again the current generation youth will not like this narrow-minded thinking.
