Andhra Shines at India’s AI Global Summit

Today, the Global AI summit that has been grandly held over days has finally ended after some big ups and downs with a major controversy brewing in regard to the Galgotia University which bought a Chinese robot and showed it as their invention at the Summit that brought some big embarrassment to India.

However, in spite of this big embarrassment, Andhra shone by leading the talk in the summit and became a better representative of India on AI  development and investments in the country.

Andhra became a buzz word among the global AI leaders like Sundar Pichai who mentioned Vizag as the speaker and how it is quite an important part of the Global AI infrastructure and thanked the government for letting the data centres investments in the city.

Apart from that Andhra became the only state that had two panels sessions where Andhra’s AI powered Agricultural transformations were discussed by the global giants of AI sector too and another session, Andhra team and CBN’s advisors led the talk on developing Quantum technology with AI through India-USA partnership.

During the Summit, Even CBN who got Bill gates to the state has also come up with the India’s AI Doctor per person model policy where a single AI-powered digital health assistant will be there for every resident of the state to monitor diabetes, hypertension & heart disease, send medication reminders, flag abnormal parameters in real time, suggest preventive measures, assist doctors in diagnostics, and provide 24/7 digital health support in co-ordination with primary health care centres and all the hospitals.

Thus, improving healthcare access in remote areas and reducing burden on government hospitals and reducing the expenses for the people who have to take constant texts in some cases.

Today on the last day, The government led by Babu has also signed an MoU with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology to establish India’s first dedicated Quantum & AI university campus in Amaravati.

In the end, Andhra Pradesh did more than just participate in the Global AI Summit, it proved that it is serious about the future. Under Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, the state presented a clear and practical vision: use technology to improve farming, strengthen healthcare, attract global investments, and build world-class universities.

Instead of making big claims, Andhra showcased concrete plans and partnerships. Most importantly, the focus remained on people  ensuring that AI benefits farmers, patients, students, and small businesses. That is what truly made Andhra stand out and strengthened India’s position on the global AI stage.
