The political identity of KTR and Kavitha, obviously originates from their father, KCR. But it appears that Kavita has decided to avoid using KCR’s image and personality for her upcoming independent election campaign in Telangana.
In her latest interaction, Kavitha confirmed that she would not be using the photo of KCR in her election campaign in Telangana.
“KCR Garu is obviously leading his own political party, and he has a working president(referring to KTR). So there is an obvious conflict of interest while using KCR’s photo. So I will leave it at that and completely avoid KCR’s photo in my election campaign.” Kavitha stated.
Kavitha pointed out that her Jagruti will collectively progress with the images of Professor Jai Shankar and Telangana Thalli. She added that the separatist movement leaders and Professor Jai Shankar are her inspiration for her political journey and that’s where her interests lie.
It was always expected that Kavitha simply cannot go back to using KCR’s image after getting ousted by the BRS and she appears to be fully in terms with the same as well.
The political journey of Kavita could be defined by her individual choices now as she will be operating outside the perimeters of KCR and her choices will decide her political outcomes henceforth.
Well, many are wondering how Kavitha can pull it off without using KCR’s photo while trying to introduce herself as a new political figure to the people of Telangana, who still widely recognize her primarily as KCR’s daughter. If she manages to establish her own identity and gain acceptance independently, it could mark the first major step toward shaping her own political success, political observers say.
