200 Crore Ghee Scam In TTD, What Are The Facts?

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in his customary monthly address to the Media lashed out at the Government as expected.

The Press Meet that went on for close to two hours is all about bashing the Government and praising his five years rule that ended up pushing him from 151 seats to just eleven.

Today, Jagan Mohan Reddy made critical comments about Tirumala Laddu. He alleges that there is a 200 Crore Scam happening in Tirumala Laddu Ghee Tenders.

“The price of ghee per kg was deliberately increased from Rs.351 to Rs.716 in a year. Chandrababu Naidu has not answered the questions asked by our party MLCs regarding the issue of ghee being supplied to Tirumala. He is not saying anything even after being questioned about the relationship between Indapur Dairy and Heritage,” Jagan Mohan Reddy said in the Press Meet.

It was already established that the Cow ghee required by the TTD is not feasible to be supplied at 351 Rupees Per Kg.

Just to win the tender, the companies have resorted to low price bidding. The low prices were enabled by diluted standards, bribes (₹25 per kg commissions), and fake dairies that never procured milk.

Post-controversy, TTD’s procurement prices rose to ₹475-₹716 per kg, aligning with market realities for genuine quality. The Procurement prices will differ as per the season too as the cows do not give milk in usual quantities in Summer.

This is how it should be in TTD but Jagan Mohan Reddy is calling it a scam now. So we should understand that paying market price for pure ghee is a scam while adulterating ghee by bidding unviable price is the correct method as per Jagan Mohan Reddy.

TTD is in a reasonably good financial state to pay money as per market price but can not afford to offend the Lord and his Crores of devotees by procuring adulterated Ghee.
