The Moinabad Farmhouse Party issue has become a sensation in both the Telugu States. BRS and TDP are at the receiving end as two of their young leaders are involved. Former BRS MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy and TDP Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Yadav are both tested positive in the Drug Test.
Chandrababu Naidu asked the MP to stay out of Party Affairs and also sought explanation in 48 hours. We will have to see if there will be a stern action on the MP so that there will be a strong message sent to the entire party.
Keeping that aside, there is another fundamental but very important question in this issue.
Why is the TDP MP in a BRS Leader’s Farmhouse?
TDP and BRS do not see eye to eye. BRS leaders especially talk very low about Chandrababu Naidu. We have seen them use TDP and Chandrababu Naidu every time for their Political Survival.
They do not change their attitude even though Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh do not respond in the same tone.
Furthermore, BRS Supporters on Social Media are always on Jagan’s side cornering the TDP Government on issues.
At this juncture, why is a TDP MP having cordial relations with a BRS leader? Why did he attend a Weekend Party in the latter’s farmhouse?
Political Rivals mean they do not need to be enemies. Recently, Chandrababu Naidu and Harish Rao faced each other in a wedding and they greeted each other cordially.
Relations beyond such political niceties are totally unnecessary especially when the cadres are fighting it on the ground to help the party.
There are some leaders even today in Telangana and there are some voters who religiously standby TDP even after these many years. What message is leaders like Putta Mahesh Yadav sending to them with these Farmhouse Parties?
