Dubbaka by-election and GHMC have given rude shocks to the ruling TRS party. Even though TRS has emerged as the single largest party in GHMC, it has morally lost the polls and most importantly people’s trust. With that TRS could not perform in two out of two elections and now they have another one and probably this is their last chance.
As we know TRS MLA from Nagarjunasgar Nomula Narasimhaiah has passed away, so the by-election is inevitable. Already all the major political parties have started their work in the constituency and they would continue to do so until the by-poll announcement is arrived.
Once again the BJP is eyeing this and is eager to score a hat-trick. If at all BJP succeeds, there is no stopping the saffron in the 2023 Assembly elections. But for TRS, it is going to be a make or break thing. They have no other choice rather than to win it and if it losses, the downfall is around the corner.
