The global politics are starting to spice up with every passing day due to the ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States. On one hand, the global stock markets are crashing consistently while the crude oil prices are going up every week.
And now we have something significant happening with regard to the Indian economy and geopolitics as Prime Minister Modi reportedly spoke with United States president Donald Trump a few minutes back.
As confirmed by the United States Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor, President Donald Trump just spoke with Prime Minister Modi. They discussed the ongoing situation in the Middle East, including the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open.
This is a particularly interesting bit of information, considering that Iran had categorically confirmed, they would permit non-litigation countries(including India) to use Strait of Hormuz as usual. So now this advancement with the United States government could change things up.
On the other hand, the union government of India was scheduled to hold an all party meeting tomorrow March 25, but this stands cancelled in the last minute. The meeting was bound to carry significance, considering several important topics including the Iran war was bound to come to discussion.
With a crucial political meeting cancelled and a conversation between Trump and Modi, people are starting to actively speculate on the global political affairs. A few people are even commenting that United States could be preparing for ground invasion of Iran, which could have pretty strong consequences.
In the meanwhile, Trump is fully committed to open up the Strait of Hormuz at any cost and he has commissioned the US military to enlarge operations at a massive capacity around the Iran region.
