Nara Lokesh has brought a massive investment to Andhra Pradesh with Arcelor Mittal‘s Steel Plant in Anakapalli which will create one lakh jobs in the Region.
YSR Congress has this peculiar habit of claiming credit of all things that happen in Chandrababu Naidu‘s Government. Previously, we have seen Buggana saying that Kia Motors came to Anantapur due to a letter written by YSR several years before his death.
And then, we have seen them claim credit for Google‘s AI Hub in Vishakhapatnam. And now, they are doing that for the Steel Plant too.
Former Minister Gudivada Amarnath says that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Aditya Mittal in 2022 and requested to start a Greenfield Steel Plant in Andhra Pradesh and it happened now because of that.
A Photograph of the meeting is being circulated on Social Media. YSR Congress Social Media Teams are trying to take the credit of the Steel Plant using that Photograph.
It may be true that Jagan met Aditya Mittal and requested for the Investment. But Investors and Businessmen are not 3 AM Friends of Political Leaders to remember and consider the requests after years.
Investments do happen with solid proposals, negotiations, incentives, followups etc. They do not happen with random meetings and letters.
It is a tragedy that YSR Congress did almost nothing when it comes to bringing investments to Andhra Pradesh during its regime and then is trying to take credit for the hardwork of Lokesh and Chandrababu Naidu.
During his tenure, Jagan Mohan Reddy went to Davos only once. He went to the World Economic Forum Annual Summit to give an impression that he is doing something to bring investments. He went there are after skipping the Summit for three years and after the 2022 Visit yielded nothing, he did not go there for the remainder of his term.
YSR Congress is using the Photo-Ops at that Summit for this Credit Stealing.
