Who Will Travel With Kavitha?

Kalvakuntla Kavitha finally announced her new Political Party. On the morning of April 25th, at 10:00 AM, the party flag will be unveiled and the party’s name officially announced during a massive public meeting at Munirabad, near Medchal.

Kavitha is strategizing to use this meeting to demonstrate her political strength and to assert that her party stands as the true alternative to the BRS.

Kavitha alleged that the BRS, which was born as a party of the Telangana movement, has now abandoned its core objectives. She asserted that despite 12 years having passed since the formation of the state, the people continue to face hardships regarding water, funds, and employment opportunities, a situation she attributes to the party’s failure.

“The BRS party’s existence is now merely nominal; all its genuine cadres and activists from the movement era are now with me. My party is poised to emerge as the sole regional force capable of fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Telangana,” Kavitha announced.

For any party to succeed, there should be a leadership face, good second-level leadership, and strong presence at the grassroots.

Kavitha will be a good face of her party. The Experience she had during the Agitation Days and in-depth subject and oratory skills will be assets for her and the party.

But then, it will be very crucial from here to attract the leaders at the districts and constituencies. They are the ones who will contest in the elections.

There is no vacuum in Telangana Politics. Leaders have Congress and BRS to choose. Even after that, they have the BJP option.

So, Kavitha has to attract the leaders proving herself better than the those three parties. It is a big challenge for sure.

In Politics, Women leadership is often perceived as weak and so, male leaders hesitate to join the parties with women leadership. So, Kavitha has to break everything.

When it comes to Cadre, Kavitha has emerged from the grassroots due to her participation in the agitation and also Telangana Jagruthi.

That experience will help her expand the party to the villages. The cadre again will come only if the leaders come.

For all this to happen, Kavitha has to be amidst the people completely in the next one year or so and occupy as much as media space possible. Only then, she will stand a chance.

Again for that to happen, Kavitha also needs loads of money. We do not know how deep are her pockets.
