Pawan Explains When YCP Will Come to Power Again!

After forming a super consolidated government in 2019 with 151 MLA seats, YSR Congress got exonerated in the most overwhelming fashion in 2024 as they got relegated to 11 seats. Since then, the NDA government has been batting for synchronised energy and a stable environment. 

This was again on display in AP Assembly today as deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan made a very honest calculation on whether and when YCP can come back to power again.

Kalyan stated that the current NDA government will remain in power for multiple years as long as they have the spirit of togetherness and collective responsibility. He added that YCP will not have a chance in the election as long as the strength of the alliance is intact.

“It’s the responsibility of the government to stay in power for the next 25 years to safeguard the next generation of the public. There is no chance for any risks that can be taken. The legislators now did not be scared of what would happen if the other party comes to power. All we need to do is stay united and deliver solid governance to the public.” Kalyan pointed out. 

The fact that Kalyan pointed out that YCP will come back to power only if there are cracks in the current administration is an indication of the strength of the alliance.

Even history is clearly back in Kalyan as whenever there has been an alliance, Jagan has been kept away from power. This was in 2014, and then in 2024. One mistake, these alliance parties made in 2019 cost them dearly and it is evident that they’re not willing to repeat the same in the future. 

But the crucial balance here is going to be to deliver effective administration at the foundation level while also remaining consolidated in the alliance. Effective administration and solid alliance principles are the only way to stop Jagan and his party and Kalyan pointed out the same in the Assembly today.
