Trump Ready To Blow Up Iran, Threat to World Economy?

United States president, Donald Trump is one of the most aggressive and impulsive personalities in the world. The kind of radical decisions that he can make at times or beyond comprehension and often have serious consequences.

And now the President has come up with a highly controversial post on social media as he threatened to blow up several parts of Iran if they do not open the Strait Of Hormuz. 

“The United States of America is in serious discussions with a new and more reasonable regime to end our Military Operations in Iran. 

Great progress has been made but, if for any reason a deal is not shortly reached, which it probably will be, and if the Hormuz Strait is not immediately “Open for Business,” we will conclude our lovely “stay” in Iran by blowing up and completely obliterating all of their Electric Generating Plants, Oil Wells and Kharg Island and possibly all desalinization plants!, which we have purposefully not yet touched”, Trump posted a few minutes back. 

Iran has already disrupted the global oil trade by restricting the usage of Strait of Hormuz which accounts for more than 20% of global trade. They are now reportedly, threatening to shut down another major global trade route in Yemen which accounts for 12% of global trade. 

With so much global market share depending on Iran’s regime, Donald Trump threatening to blow up the energy stations and refinery units in the country is leaving global economy in panic. In fact, United States economy, experts themselves are pointing out that oil prices could be touching $200 a barrel if the Iran conflict does not end.

In case Trump actually goes on to destroy Iran, then this could potentially trigger a brutal war which disrupts oil supply to several countries. At a time when several countries are already fighting energy lockdowns due to reduced oil supply, this trump idea could be very fatal, remarked a global economist.
