As we had reported yesterday, YSR Congress MP, Midhun Reddy said in the Parliament that their party is opposing the Amaravati resolution and stormed out of the house shortly after as they employed the walkout strategy.
Despite facing significant feedback for this development in the Parliament, YCP did not change their ways even in the upper house of Rajya Sabha today.
Incidentally, the Amaravati resolution that was passed in the Parliament yesterday came to a discussion in the Rajya Sabha today and YCP had an expected reaction to the same.
Of all the reasons that YCP could quote, they noted that the Amaravati bill does not give any assurance on the special category status for Andhra Pradesh, and that is the reason why they are opposing it.
After blatantly opposing the Amaravati bill, YCP, Rajya Sabha members walk out of the upper House as well. This is very similar to the earlier reaction that they had in the Parliament as a similar scenario was repeated in the upper house of Rajya Sabha as well today.
This non-stop campaign against Amaravati is still being employed by YSR Congress. And on the other hand, we have Jagan who floated the idea of “MAVIGUN” yesterday which in itself is getting wildly bombarded on social media with endless trolls and memes stuff.
