Jagan Is Chandrababu Naidu’s Good Fortune!

Chandrababu Naidu’s term is yet to even complete two years in Office. Forget two years, even before the first year of this term, YSR Congress used to do extensive crowd gathering for Jagan‘s tours and tried to create a perception that there is severe anti-incumbency against the Government.

It appears like Jagan and YSR Congress Supporters genuinely believe there is anti-incumbency against the Government. Leave aside the matter if it is staged or organic, Jagan seems to have squandered all of that in one go.

Ever since Jagan spoke about MA-VI-GUN, the former Chief Minister appeared so vulnerable.

Until now, there are speculations that Jagan may be defeated due to Delimitation or Sharmila or the combination of CBN, PK, and Modi. But then, it is not true. Whenever Jagan is defeated, he will be defeated by himself.

MA-VI-GUN is a classic example of how indecisive Jagan is as a leader. Politicians do underestimate the intellect of the Public. They feel voters fall easily for freebies and do not expect anything more.

YSR Congress leaders and it’s ecosystem hoped the same before 2024 elections and they were proved badly wrong. Public expect decisive and visionary leadership from those elected. Jagan faltered in that only in 2024.

But then, there is no change even now. Jagan said he is the only one who has own house in Amaravati and so he is for the Capital. After getting elected, he changed the stance to Three Capitals.

After the 2024 elections, he dropped the three capitals as well and suddenly took up MA-VI-GUN. He dumped Uttarandhra Plan all of sudden.

If we remember, Chandrababu Naidu did not dump Amaravati even after the 2019 defeat. He did not change his stance even though the people of Krishna and Guntur districts defeated TDP thoroughly.

Right or wrong, there should be certain policies that should not be changed at any cost. Only then, the leadership will appear strong and decisive. On the Capital issue, Jagan clearly exposed himself as unstable and unreliable.

This impact will not be confined only to the Capital. It will have a bearing impact on Jagan’s personality and his leadership abilities. Chandrababu Naidu is lucky to have an opponent like Jagan Mohan Reddy.
