In a key development from Delhi, the Centre has officially issued the gazette notification declaring Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. The notification was released by Union Law Secretary Rajeev following the signature of the President of India. With this step, the Centre formally completed the legal process, giving Amaravati clear constitutional recognition as the state capital.
