Jagan Is Back With MAVIGUN: ‘Chilakaku Cheppinatlu Cheppa!’

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is back on the weekly visit to Andhra Pradesh and he took the time to address the YCP cadres briefly. This was when he brought back the reference to MAVIGUN, much to the cheers of YCP folk. 

“I have been saying this to Chandrababu multiple times. Instead of investing ₹2 lakh crore on Amaravati, it is better to invest 10% of this on MAVIGUN – Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur. If he does this, we will have a capital from day 1.” 

“Chandrababu ki MAVIGUN gurinchi chilakaku cheppinatlu cheppa” Jagan said in Telugu as he stated that he had been repeatedly advising Chandrababu to develop MAVIGUN.

This retort from Jagan has immediately invited criticism on social media as people are commenting that Jagan played games with three capitals during his tenure and now has the audacity to advise CBN on what’s to be done.

“If Jagan was really so invested in the MAVIGUN plan, why didn’t he take a single step towards it while he was the CM. Now that Amaravati is confirmed as the capital and is set to witness economic growth, Jagan wants to take the attention away from this with this attention grabbing MAVIGUN plan.” A TDP supporter commented under the video of Jagan’s speech. 

The former chief minister then spoke about ABN Radhakrishna and said this media baron has low regard for YCP leaders and their wives while referring to a recent report that was aired on ABN. He said Radhakrishna will be made to pay the price in the future. 

Coming back to the discussion on MAVIGUN, it needs to be noted that this coin term that was floated by Jagan got anonymously trolled and criticised on social media. But it appears that this negative feedback has not reached Jagan as he is still continuing with the same proposal.
