The ex-chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan has this habit of changing the capital cities and related proposals whenever given the opportunity. After the vague three capitals plan between 2019 and 2024 Jagan has shifted to Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur now with MAVIGUN plan.
Despite the early criticism and social media backlash for this new proposal made by Jagan, it appears that YSR Congress is going all out with regard to the publication of this MAVIGUN capital.
On that note, something very interesting happened at the residence of Jagan in Tadepalli today as a banner featuring MAVIGUN was assembled here.
The banner features, Jagan and also Devineni Avinash while the text depicts “Jagan 2.0 – MAVIGUN 2029.” This could be a clear indication of the fact that YSR Congress is going to centralise this MAVIGUN idea for their election campaign in 2029.
The last time Jagan came up with saucy an idea on capital happened after he got elected in 2019 as he floated three capitals project. And now, he appears to be changing his strategy, which has MAVIGUN as the focal point. This could also be considered as a clear aversion towards Amaravati, which was officially declared as the state capital in the Parliament.
