CM For 15 Years But Living In Simple House!

Generally, the chief minister of the respective states are given dedicated luxurious places for residence. There is world class amenities and facilities at the chief minister’s residence.

But in the case of the longest serving West Bengal, chief minister Mamata Banerjee, her simplicity is taking everyone by surprise.

A new visual of the official residence of Mamata Banerjee came out today while she was greeted by Samajwadi party, chief Akhilesh Yadav, who went to console her after the electoral defeat.

This was precisely when a larger section of the public got a glimpse of the official residence of Mamata Banerjee, and they are all surprised by the simplicity of the same.

This is an extremely humble house with very little security arrangements in the front and we even get to see a simple cot in the living area which is presumably the resting place.

Despite the fact that Mamata Banerjee has served as the chief minister of West Bengal, for nearly 15 years, her simplicity is grabbing all the attention now. She is already the self declared poorest CM in India with assets of less than 16 lakh.

And now this visual of the extremely humble and simple house of Mamata Banerjee has opened up the debate about the need for CMs to opt for such simple living to set the right precedent for other politicians.
