Official: Vijay vs Pawan Begins Now!

South Indian politics are witnessing a cinematic revolution these days as cinema superstars are turning out to be successful politicians. Earlier it was the case of Pawan Kalyan, who cemented the NDA alliance in Andhra Pradesh and eventually became the deputy CM.

Now we have super interesting case of Thalapathy Vijay, who has taken charge as the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu. He is in an alliance with Congress and will be seen as the face of alliance in South.

What this would essentially transcend into is a cinematic fight between two legendary superstars of this generation who hold high degree political positions now.

NDA could very well project Pawan Kalyan as the face of their outfit in South India, as he strongly aligns with the Sanatan Dharma narrative that is closely followed by the BJP. Even Modi has great words to say about Kalyan as the two of them share a powerful bonding.

On the other hand, we have Thalapathy Vijay, who finally appears to be a worthy phase for the Congress in South India. He is the biggest pulling factor for the INDIA bloc motto at whatever capacity and that’s evident if we look at the way Tamil Nadu people backed him in election.

Till now, we saw cinema fan wars between Vijay and Pawan Kalyan fans on Twitter. But now this will take a serious transition as Vijay and Kalyan could be heading warring camps on behalf of Congress and NDA respectively. This is going to be a very interesting passage of play in South Indian politics.

At the cinema level, both Kalyan and Vijay had a close affiliation as the latter famously remade many films of Kalyan. In fact, people even drew similarities between the political campaigns of Vijay and Kalyan at one point.

But what promises to come up in the future is an insanely exciting political battle between these two cinematic politicians.
