Back in the day, Andhra Pradesh politics were very mature and socially responsible. Despite their political differences and ideological choices by YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu used to maintain a positive public relationship. They started their careers together and had a smile on their faces when they came across each other.
But that is not even remotely the case in Andhra Pradesh now as previous CM YS Jagan has completely revamped the atmosphere with a fiercely competitive approach. Today it is hard to even imagine Jagan and Chandrababu coming face-to-face at any capacity.
In the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu, the situation is quite the opposite, as the incoming Chief Minister Vijay visited outgoing CM Stalin at his residence, where they shared a warm hug, seen as a strong gesture of camaraderie beyond politics.
Vijay went to the official residence of Stalin in Chennai this afternoon and held a brief conversation with him. The meeting was held with great spirits, and there would have been adequate discussion on multiple topics.
Camaraderie Beyond Politics!

Heart-warming scenes in Tamil Nadu politics as CM #Vijay meets former CM #Stalin and #UdhayanidhiStalin.

Vijay had many differences with Stalin before the election and criticised him and his policies. But at the administrative level, Vijay should definitely take the expertise of Stalin and other senior leaders, which is exactly what he is doing. The collective spirit displayed by Vijay can come a long way in enhancement of the political scene in Tamil Nadu.
Such incidents where the chief minister goes to the house of the opposition party leader might not even happen in a distant dream in Andhra Pradesh as such is the current situation here in the state. Perhaps we can take a lesson or two from what’s happening in Tamil Nadu.
