One Family, Three Parties, Three MLAs!

Aadhav Arjuna is the Key leader in Thalapathy Vijay’s TVK Party. There are rumors that he has funded the entire election of TVK.

He was elected as MLA from Villivakkam constituency on a TVK ticket and has taken oath as a Cabinet Minister in the TVK-led Tamil Nadu government.

However, there are people who watch Aadhav Arjuna suspiciously.

He is the son-in-law of Santiago Martin, who is famously known as Lottery King in Tamil Nadu. Santiago Martin is a prominent businessman heading the Martin Group (lotteries, real estate, etc.).

Santiago Martin’s wife, Leema Rose Martin got elected as MLA from Lalgudi constituency on an AIADMK ticket. She is noted as one of the richest candidates/MLAs with assets declared in the range of ₹1,000+ crore

Their son Jose Charles Martin founded his own party Latchiya Jananayaga Katchi (LJK). and was elected as MLA from Kamaraj Nagar (Puducherry) on an LJK ticket. LJK is an ally of the NDA.

That said, one family has three MLAs across three different parties (AIADMK, LJK, TVK) and two assemblies (Tamil Nadu + Puducherry).

That is also adding to doubts on Aadhav Arjuna.

It is common belief that people with big business interests do not have good intentions. Moreover, we are talking about businesses which people presume are not clean. So, there will be extensive scrutiny on Aadhav Arjuna in days to come.

But for now, he enjoys complete confidence of Chief Minister Joseph Vijay.
