Bandi Son Issue: Kavitha Just Smiled?

Kalvakuntla Kavitha is fighting for her own political identity in Telangana and she had launched the Telangana Rakshana Sena recently. In the meantime, she has been sketching out the strategy to make an impact on Telangana politics, in whichever way she can.

On that note, Kavitha was asked to comment about Bandi Bhageerath’s absconding after being named in a POCSO case.

However, the kind of reaction that Kavitha had to this development is rather shocking to say the least. The female politician had applied smile on her face and laughed at this question saying more emphasis must be placed on government issues than this incident.

Kavitha was of the opinion that it is not needed to drag the life of a young kid, who is not in politics just to create a scene. This peculiar reaction from the TRS chief has drawn mixed reactions on social media.

At a time when this case is turning out to be a burning topic, and there is a significant public backlash, a better and socially conscious reaction is expected of Kavitha. But she was rather dismissive and light hearted about the same.

Many people are commenting that Kavita might have her opinion on this matter, and her affiliation with the concerned individual might be different. But when it comes to the public space more socially conscious behaviour and reactions are expected of her.
