The highly controversial POCSO case against Bandi Bhageerath is the focal point of many discussions in Telangana for the last week or so. This matter has reached the court of law now.
Extremely proficient, Niranjan Reddy is the lawyer on behalf of Bhageerath as he is arguing the case at the Telangana High Court. He approached the High Court bench for interim bail to Bhageerath in this case in order to prevent an immediate arrest.
However, the Telangana High Court did not approve this petition that was filed by Niranjan Reddy on behalf of Bandi Bhageerath. It has been effectively communicated that interim bail in this case isn’t possible at this point in time.
While the the youngster is currently absconding and out of police reach, the rejection of interim bail might warrant an arrest. Telangana government has also instructed the police department to carry out multiple search operations on the same.
Now we have to patiently wait and see if the Telangana Police department would take advantage of this court judgement against interim bail and find a way to nab Bhageerath and bring him to justice.
