The remarkable journey of Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy from a common ZPTC position to the chief minister of the state is beyond ordinary. However, it looks like Revanth is not fully committed to this position either as he has bigger dreams.
Revanth Reddy took part in Media conclave last night, and he categorically revealed that he wishes to have a national political career soon.
“I wish to be the chief minister of Telangana till 2034, and then I have the aspirations of moving to national politics. My journey has been extremely rewarding, and I wish to test my extreme potential in national politics.” Revanth said.
Revanth Reddy is already one of the primary leaders for the Congress party in Telangana and slowly becoming a star campaigner for the party across the South belt.
If he maintains this consistency in Congress and leads Telangana state successfully, the National politics, dream might not be too far from now. But it needs to be said that we might be speculating too far into the future by speaking about the scenario in 2034 which is still nearly a decade from now.
The crucial challenge for Revanth Reddy now is going to retain power in Telangana in the next election, and if this is succeeded, his national dreams might fly with vigour and enthusiasm.
