Superstar Rajinikanth called for a Pressmeet to clarify about his stand on Thalapathy Vijay becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. He clarified that he is not a cheap or low-standard person to feel jealous about Vijay.
But then, Rajinikanth’s action after the Tamil Nadu elections definitely gave indications that he is jealous.
People gave a fractured mandate in the election and there were rumors that DMK and AIADMK may stitch an unholy alliance with Rajinikanth as the Chief Minister.
At that point, Rajinikanth met MK Stalin. He himself gave rise to speculations. He now clarifies that he was shocked by Stalin’s defeat and went to lend support. But then, he was at wrong place and at wrong time.
In a recent incident, when Rajinikanth was traveling somewhere, a few people at the airport asked him about his reaction to Vijay becoming CM. Without giving an answer, Rajini just smiled. After the video went viral, everyone is of the opinion that he is just jealous.
This Pressmeet will not serve any purpose for the people to change their opinion. They will only say Rajinikanth is now clarifying because he does not want to upset the new Chief Minister for the next five years.
Way back in 2018, Rajinikanth announced his new political party but later backed off citing his age. When it comes to politics, Rajinikanth always mishandled the subject.
When he was at the peaks of his popularity and right age, he did not venture into politics. He ventured and pulled off the plug which only damaged his reputation for no reason.
And now, he knowingly or unknowingly damaged his reputation in this issue with his actions. He has to blame himself for this fiasco.
