Naidu Should Not Have Embarrassed The MLA Before Public!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu participated in a Public Meeting in Kavali constituency, Nellore.

Addressing the people there, Naidu made some comments about local MLA Krishna Reddy which have become point of discussion now.

CM Chandrababu stated that the focus should not be merely on delivering impressive speeches, but rather on working harder at the grassroots level.

He remarked that while Kavali MLA Krishna Reddy’s speeches were excellent, he had lagged behind in terms of actual work. He emphasized that public trust grows not merely by making demands, but by demonstrating tangible results through action.

Even though Naidu said this with a smile, the MLA looked visibly embarassed trying to cover with a smile. It is clear that Naidu may have got negative reports about the MLA in the internal surveys.

He has all rights to be disappointed but then, he should not have embarassed the MLA before the Public and cadres.

Once the Top leadership speaks about the MLA like that, he will not command the respect he should be getting.

It is not like the elections are round the corner and you would change the MLA. There are three years to go and it makes no sense if the MLA is embarrassed publicly.

Naidu should have called the MLA and speak to him in private about his performance.

In 2024 elections, Dagumati Venkata Krishna Reddy defeated his nearest rival from YSR Congress, Ramireddy Pratap Kumar Reddy with a majority of 30,948 votes.
