Temple, Mosque Projects in Frisco Draw Mixed Reactions in US?

US president Donald Trump’s conservative policy is receiving support from several people and they are opposing immigrants from settling in the nation.

Trump supporter and an accused in the Jan. 6 riots Edward Jacob Lang fumed at the Frisco City Council for giving consent to building an Islamic mosque, a Hindu temple and also a Jain temple in the city. If Jainism and Hinduism are so great, why are their countries shit holes, he asked.

However, Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney explained that if the projects meet all the planning and zoning requirement by law, they will have to approve. “They have rights to build in Frisco, Cheney said.

Further, he explained that it is not a policymaking agenda item. It is a procedural administrative decision based on zoning.

Lang, who is also a candidate for the Florida US Senate, said the Hindus and Muslims are teeming up to take over Texas. They are driving us out of our homeland. He even said that the Hindus and Muslims would eradicate Christianity.

They have not come here to become Americans but to drag their Third World culture over our country.

He charged the Frisco Council with inviting the enemy to eat at the table to steal all the food. They would even steal the jobs of our children.

He claimed these religious spaces would change the city’s identity and opposed the council’s decision not to stop the projects.

Lang was among 40 speakers who expressed their opinion over the Frisco Council’s decision, when it heard the public statements for over three hours, giving each of the speaker three minutes each.

However, Lang exceeded the allotted three minutes and was even escorted out of the meeting for breaking the decorum policy.

However, many others spoke in favour of the three places of worship and appealed to the Council to condemn the hateful statements made by conservationists.
