Generally, when a chief minister and his cabinet minister lose the election, they are bound to face corrective measures. In certain cases, even the CBI and the enforcement directorate can be enforced on these individuals.
Now, a similar story is currently development in Kerala as the former chief minister of the state, Pinarayi Vijayan, who had served for more than a decade is now under the radar.
In connection with the ongoing ED investigation on Exalogic-CMRL which is owned by T Veena who is the daughter of former CM Vijayan, the ED officials arrived at his house in Thiruvananthapuram today.
The ED officials arrived at the residence of the former chief minister earlier in the day today and carried on with their questioning processes.
However, violence broke out while ED officials were coming out of the residence as the CPM cadres had piled up in big numbers and resorted to a violent approach.
While Vijayan comes across as a soft and non-violent personality, the local leftist leaders were having none of it as they absolutely smashed the cars belonging to the ED officials.
There was a very violent scene that built up outside the residence of the former chief minister. However, these activities are only going to increase the suspicion with regard to the investigation, and there could be more severe action coming up soon.
