KTR’s Calculated Counter To Pawan Kalyan

After creating a sensation in 2024 Andhra Pradesh politics, Pawan Kalyan now appears to be committed towards Telangana politics. He had an aggressive press conference at his Jubilee Hills residence yesterday and was critical of the Telangana government.

Kalyan publicly said certain political forces are looking to abstract him, but he is not a man who would stop for these reasons. This has now invited a strong reaction from KTR as well.

In his retaliation to the earlier comments made by Pawan Kalyan, BRS working president KTR said no one is stopping Pawan Kalyan from entering Telangana. “You and your family have been staying here and so many other Andhra people. There was not a single small problem that you faced here. But you’re questioning, the integrity of Telangana people. Yes, this land belongs to every single one of us who were born here.”

KTR said the Andhra Pradesh deputy CM will have his personal respect as an individual and politician, but if he wants to generate political traction here, there will be consequences.

KTR further added that no one is stopping Pawan Kalyan or anyone from coming and testing in Telangana as Kalyan’s JSP had contested 2023 assembly election. Even Chandra Babu came and contested here in 2018.

Unlike certain Congress leaders and TRS’s Kavitha who were provocative and aggressive with their reaction to Pawan Kalyan, the BRS president KTR was very calculated and smart with his reaction.

It appears that Pawan Kalyan is triggering many political forces not just in Andhra Pradesh, but also in Telangana, as he has confirmed that his party would contest the 2028 election here.
