YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and KCR had forgettable electoral campaigns in their previous terms as both of them were uprooted from power. And now, they appear to be formulating as identical strategy as they look to retain power in the next election.
YS Jagan has already announced publicly that he is going to start his historic Padayatra in 2027. The route map of the same will be prepared in the next few months, but what is certain is that Jagan will be with the public till the upcoming 2029 assembly election.
This is going to be one of the critical political development in Andhra Pradesh politics as Jagan create history the last time yatra in 2019, and he would be hoping for a similar result again.
On the other hand, we have the case of KCR, who had been hibernating after the defeat in the 2023 election. But it is confirmed by Harish Rao that KCR will be stepping out in the public by the start of the year 2027.
Harish Rao pointed out that KCR is going to be increasingly active in Telangana politics starting from 2027, and he is also preparing for the iconic bus yatra where he will be touring Telangana on a bus.
Both Jagan and KCR have decided that it is time for them to be back with the public starting from 2027, as they’re both preparing for the most crucial electoral campaigns in the coming term.
A lot will depend on the kind of public perception that they can set with these two independent campaigns, and only time will tell if they are able to be successful with the same.
