YCP Ex Minister Bad Mouths HM Anitha In Public!

One of the infamous practices of the previous YCP administration, and Andhra Pradesh was the tendency to use the most derogatory terms against their opponents. Several leaders like Kodali Nani, Ambati Rambabu, Roja and others were constantly on the job of badmouthing the likes of Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan.

After the historic 2024 election, many people expected YSR Congress leaders to learn a lesson from the public and stop the unparliamentary language speeches. But that doesn’t appear to the case now.

Former IT minister of Andhra Pradesh, Gudivada Amarnath has used extremely objectionable language against home minister Anitha while speaking at a public gathering. 

In this video, which is now going viral, it is heard that Amarnath says “ This makeup minister(referring to Anitha) wears enough makeup that we can weigh it by kilograms. She puts on at least 1 kg kilogram of make up.”

“She is saying that jobs are coming in search of Andhra Pradesh people these days. I wonder what kind of jobs that she is referring to. We definitely cannot do the kind of jobs that she used to do in the past. Our women are disciplined, and they can’t do those jobs.” Amarnath said. 

Amarnath was very vague with his comments, but they are obviously provocative and derogatory by nature. This has triggered a strong reaction from Anitha and she replied “What a YSRCP leader said about me on camera, at a public meeting was not merely an insult. It was a vile, casteist attack aimed at humiliating a woman and a Dalit holding a constitutional office.”

The language he used is so disgraceful that it cannot even be repeated in public. That fact alone exposes the culture YSRCP has nurtured and normalised. This is what some men do when a woman rises through her own hard work, conviction and public service. Unable to challenge her politically, they resort to abuse and intimidation, she said on the matter. 

Earlier YSR Congress leaders had abused Chandrababu’s wife, Bhuvaneswari, and Pawan Kalyan’s female family members. Now, the attack is on Anitha. It has to be seen where this issue would end up now.
