The IT minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh is one of the hands on politicians in Indian politics and he has the inherent duty to frequently visit business heads and operational chiefs. On that note, there is one particular secret meeting between Lokesh and a top corporate executive which had been making headlines.
This meeting apparently involved multiple individuals, including Lokesh, Chandrababu, a former vice president of India, and a corporate giant. The nature of this meeting has not yet been disclosed, but the matter has already reached Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
When Lokesh was asked to clarify on this matter at a national debate, he was straightforward with it. “Yes, the meeting had indeed happened. I met one of the individuals that you have named and the rumour started coincidently. I went to meet Prime Minister Modi ji later and explained what had happened. He was so encouraging that he himself asked me to keep meeting more people and understand what’s happening. I want to make it clear that our unconditional support is with Modi ji.”
It is interesting to note that this secret meeting that happened between Lokesh, Babu and some of the biggest executives in political and corporate worlds had invited Modi’s reaction. But it was all in good spirits, and there is nothing to worry about now.
Lokesh confirmed that TDP is going to travel with the NDA and these rumours keep popping up every 3 to 6 months. He announced unconditional support to Modi and NDA government at the centre.
