Vijay’s Minister Facing Big Allegations: What’s Happening?

Tamil Nadu chief minister Thalapathy Vijay is determined with the job of delivering effective governance in the state and he is leaving no stone and turned to make it happen. However, there are a few controversial incidents involving his cabinet ministers.

Now we have a cabinet minister in Vijay’s government who is facing allegations of drug consumption based on a vague video on social media which is trending now.

In a video that recently surfaced on social media, TN Minister D Sarath Kumar can be seen arranging a white powdery substance on a phone screen with a bank card. This immediately led to theories and speculations on social media that the cabinet minister is consuming drugs in public.

However, the young Cabinet minister who handles the human resource resources department quickly clarified that this is not drugs of any kind and it is just medicine for his daughter.

The opposition parties have jumped on this matter, and they are publicly communicating that the minister is consuming drugs during IPL games, which is atrocious. The DMK has held multiple protests across Chennai against this minister.

Consequently, there is a lot of pressure on CM Vijay to immediately remove this minister from the cabinet and take conclusive action if at all it is established that he had consumed drugs. The ball is in the chief minister’s court now, and it has to be seen what would be his reaction.
