KCR & KTR Gave Reverse Masterstroke To Kavitha?

The BRS leadership, including KCR, was already regretting the decision to rename TRS as BRS. TRS carried more than two decades of political legacy in Telangana, and many believe that the name change weakened the party’s appeal among the masses.

To make matters worse for the BRS outfit, Kalvakuntla Kavitha who separated from the party took up this TRS name from the election commission by naming it Telangana Rakshana Sena. Many people immediately felt that Kavi delivered a masterstroke to KCR and KTR by picking up the TRS name that they had left and gained a legacy political party name with ease.

However, the latest developments are suggesting that the election commission has delivered a shock to Kavitha and this is regarding the TRS party name. The commission pointed out that there has been significant public backlash and appeals against the usage of Telangana Rashtra Sena name and asked Kavita to alter the same. Her party was asked to submit two alternative names.

However, Kavita has said that she is not going to change the party name and is ready to fight a legal battle for it if that is what it takes. It is evident that she is not looking to lose the TRS name and is ready to go the extra journey for the same.

But coming back to the public backlash aspect, many people are suspecting that this might be the job of the BRS leadership who were least interested in losing the legacy TRS name to Kavitha.

They might have been behind this public, appeals to the election commission against the usage of TRS name for Kavitha party. If that really is the case, then the BRS leadership might have done the job silently and smartly by pushing the EC to take action on Kavitha with regard to her new party name.
