The current NDA government in Andhra Pradesh is extremely progressive and receptive when it comes to inviting foreign investments to the state. Concerned IT Minister Lokesh is currently in South Korea on this responsibility, and he is promising great things that are likely to come up soon.
Lokesh went to South Korea earlier, and is currently meeting with some of the business heads there while inviting investments to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Incidentally, Lokesh met Lee Cheong-geun, Chairman & CEO of South Korea’s renowned medical device certified smart healthcare footwear company Shoealls, in Seoul.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Lokesh requested Shoealls to expedite the commencement of footwear manufacturing unit works in Andhra Pradesh as per the MoU signed with the government. He said the unit, to be set up with an investment of Rs.300 crore, will provide employment to around 3,000 people.
South Korea is very progressive when it comes to electronics and fast fashion accessories so there is a lot of potential to be held here if Lokesh can convince some of the big companies here to come to AP.
Lokesh had been frequently travelling abroad in the recent months with the intention of bringing substantial foreign investments to the state, and this trip to South Korea is another addition to the list.
