Visakhapatnam is steadily emerging as a major data centre and technology hub. In another boost for the city, Ecobox has announced a ₹1,008 crore investment to set up a Logistics and Light Industrial Park at Kanamam.
The project will act as the key warehousing and logistics support facility for Google’s upcoming data centre in Vizag. It will help handle storage, supply chain operations and other infrastructure needed for the large scale project.
As Google’s data centre takes shape, more companies are investing in businesses that support the ecosystem. Logistics, warehousing, power and industrial infrastructure are expected to see significant growth in the coming years.
Ecobox’s investment is another sign that Vizag is attracting not just technology companies but also industries that will support them. With such projects coming up, the city is strengthening its position as one of India’s fastest growing destinations for digital infrastructure and industrial development.
