KTR Never Hesitates to Praise CBN’s Good Work

BRS party and its supporters in Telangana consider Andhra CM and TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu as their political arch rival. BRS working president KTR is also one of the vocal critics of Naidu. But, he gives due credit to CBN’s visionary initiatives. Once after, KTR lavished praises on Chandrababu’s proactive approach during crisis.

During his interaction in New Delhi today, the former Telangana minister specifically lauded the AP administration for successfully managing the severe water crisis triggered by El Nino. He noted that even under dry weather conditions, the government took timely measures to safeguard local farmers. By keeping a close eye on the agricultural calendar, AP managed to prevent crop failures that often impact the region.

A major point of appreciation in KTR’s address was the operational efficiency of the Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Scheme, which is Chandrababu’s brainchild. He commended the AP government for actively lifting water from Pattiseema during this critical juncture to assist farmers.

He criticized the Congress-led Telangana government under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for failing to prioritize vital irrigation works. According to KTR, the Telangana administration is not showing the same dedication, leaving local farmers vulnerable while their neighbors are making rapid strides.

He also praised Andhra Pradesh’s systematic efforts to minimize water wastage by preventing it from flowing into the sea. He observed that the AP government is actively working on channels and link projects to maximize river water usage.

This is not the first time that KTR has openly acknowledged Naidu’s good governance. Even though KTR always attacks the TDP over Telangana sentiment and other political issues, he never withholds himself from praising CBN whenever he comes across such initiatives as he mentioned today.
