Nara Lokesh Smartly Hits Jagan Where It Hurts

Minister Nara Lokesh had hit Jagan Mohan Reddy where it hits hard. The other day, Amara Raja had inaugurated a Customer Qualification Plant in Telangana. It is a part of the company’s 9500 Crore Giga Corridor planned in the State.

This was supposed to be an investment planned in Andhra Pradesh but was moved to Telangana due to the alleged harassment of the then Jagan Government.

Jagan Mohan Reddy went after Amara Raja because it is headlined by Jayadev Galla who was a TDP MP during that time. Galla Jayadev withdrew from Politics thanks to the Vendetta Politics of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In his final political Pressmeet, Jayadev said Politics are not for the industrialists as one has to get more than 70 approvals/renewals every year from various Local, State, and Central Agencies which include the Pollution Control Board, Water Department, Forests Department, Electricity Board, Labour, Revenue, Fire and many others and each of these agencies can be weaponized by the party in power.

Jayadev triggered a big discussion and also a worry about the future of the country.

Nara Lokesh reopened the old wounds by taking to X (Twitter) by tendering a Public apology to Jayadev Galla and the Amara Raja Group.

“For over four decades, Amara Raja has been more than just one of Andhra Pradesh’s greatest industrial success stories. It has created world-class manufacturing, generated thousands of jobs, and carried the name of Chittoor and Andhra Pradesh across India and the world. The harassment your company endured under the previous government should never have happened. An entrepreneur who chose to build in his home state deserved encouragement, not intimidation. It pains me that a company born in Andhra Pradesh had to look beyond our borders for its next chapter of growth,” Nara Lokesh said.

He also extended another invitation for Amara Raja to come back to Andhra Pradesh.

“As we rebuild trust, I want you to know this: Andhra Pradesh is once again open for enterprise. We hope Amara Raja’s biggest chapters will still be written in the state where its journey began. Our doors, and our hearts, will always remain open. Best wishes on your new Telangana facility,” the Minister added.

This Tweet of Lokesh was neatly constructed to inform the Public how Jagan Mohan Reddy mistreated the investors and industrialists during that five years and it is also a positive messaging to the investors about his Government’s Pro-Investors’ initiatives.

In the process, he also rekindled the memories of that five years to the Public with a bad impression.
