The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan is back on his weekly visit to the state as he addressed his party supporters and leaders at Tadepalli head office. He took the occasion to launch a new super app in the name of Jagan 2.0.
Earlier, Jagan had briefly discussed the idea of launching a digital book to keep record of the complaints raised by YCP leaders across Andhra Pradesh. Now he has taken more social approach as he launched this Jagan 2.0 app, which will essentially serve as a social media medium for YCP.
He encouraged his party supporters to install this application on their mobile phones and report all the social media posts and the problems that they are facing on a day-to-day basis at a political level.
The former CM confirmed that this would be a digital library to track all the issues faced by his party ecosystem, and he will then look to rectify them once he returns to power. This is another ambitious attempt from Jagan to create socially inclusive ecosystem for YCP.
However, the main problem has been with the fact that Jagan has still not established a direct point of contact with the lower leadership in YCP. As long as he is distanced from the ground level administration, these digital activities would account for very little but Jagan appears to be sticking to this formula regardless.
