Ready To Permanently Quit Politics, KTR Challenges Revanth!

K Tara Rama Rao, who is more popular as KTR in Telangana politics is having to shoulder the responsibility of leading the BRS in the hibernation period of his father KCR, who had been rather silent since the 2023 defeat.

Today, KTR conducted up protest on behalf of the student population in Telangana and he named it Yuva Sangramam. This protest was primarily surrounding the employment opportunities for the younger population in the state and the failures of Revanth Reddy government.

This was the time when KTR took the stage to challenge Revanth Reddy about his claims that he had provided 70,000 jobs after becoming the CM of Telangana.

“I will permanently quit politics, if Revanth Reddy can prove that he gave 70,000 government jobs after he became the CM. If he publishes the notifications, and the fulfilment procedures, I will definitely step away from politics forever.” KTR said.

This was followed by a moment of acknowledgement from KTR, as he said, certain mistakes were made with regard to the examinations during BRS tenure. He gave the implication that the people responsible for these incidents were not reprimanded rightly, and that ended up costing the BRS.

This event saw a reasonable turnout of the younger population, and KTR tried his best to resonate with them on the occasion. Question is whether the earlier question paper leakages, and lack of adequate employment opportunities during KCR’s time would be haunting the BRS even in 2028 or if people have forgotten and forgiven.
