PM Modi’s First Reaction On NEET Paper Leak

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that the Centre will take strong steps to prevent paper leaks in future and build a foolproof examination system across the country.

Speaking at the NDA Parliamentary Party’s meeting, Modi said those involved in the NEET paper leak have already been arrested and the government will ensure they receive the strictest punishment through the courts.

He said preventing paper leaks is not the responsibility of one state alone, but a national responsibility, as similar issues have been reported in several states.

Modi also said the government acted immediately after reports of the NEET paper leak surfaced. To ensure students did not suffer, the Centre quickly conducted the NEET re examination.

“We conducted the NEET re examination immediately so that students do not face any loss,” the Prime Minister said.

He also appealed to all political parties to work together on issues related to the future of students and support efforts to make the examination system more transparent and secure.
