Yesterday, chief minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy protested the arrest of Rahul Gandhi earlier in Delhi was he was supporting the students movement against the NEET exam mishap.
Revanth Reddy had a sharp set of words against Prime Minister, Modi and education minister Dharmendra Pradhan as he criticised them for the gross incompetence in handling such a sensitive exam procedure.
And now the stage is being prepared for the resurgence of KTR in the protest scene, as he has announced that he would be stepping out in support of the student agitation soon.
“The voice of India’s youth cannot be crushed through force. I will be joining the BRSV protest tomorrow at 10:00 AM at Indira Park, Hyderabad, in solidarity against the brutal crackdown on students and youth in Delhi. I appeal to students, youth and everyone who believes in democracy to join us in standing up for the constitutional right to dissent.” KTR posted.
This would essentially mean that KTR would be stepping out in support of students tomorrow, July 24, and this would mark his first official presence at this protest. This is going to be a pretty significant piece of information, considering KTR is stepping out the next day after Revanth Reddy.
At a time when BJP is emerging as a primary opponent for both BRS and the Congress in Telangana, the responsibility is on Revanth and KTR to fight their battles sharply against this centrally backed party. That is the reason why they are not missing any occasion to take on the BJP.
