Punjab National Bank has partnered with the Andhra Pradesh government to set up a Quantum Finance Innovation Hub in Amaravati. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and PNB CEO and MD Ashok Chandra.
The hub will focus on improving cybersecurity in banking, preventing financial fraud, and developing secure digital banking solutions using quantum technology. It will also bring together startups, universities, research institutions, industries, and government agencies to encourage innovation in quantum computing and artificial intelligence.
CM Chandrababu said Amaravati is being developed as a hub for deep technologies, and the PNB project is another major milestone. He also stressed the need to improve digital literacy and use advanced technology to tackle cybercrime and make digital banking safer for everyone.
