PM Modi Adviced Ministers To Focus On Instagram Reels?

Instagram is one of the most used social media platforms in the world, and it is certainly the most followed and socially relevant platform in India. In fact, it is in a position to execute full scale, social protests and create a political campaign on its own. 

Now the ongoing Delhi protest regarding the student community is also primarily revolving around Instagram posts. People are getting to know about this proceeding more on Instagram, than on mainstream media.

This has invited an interesting reaction from Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he reportedly advised his ministers to be more focused and active on Instagram from now on. 

The Prime Minister pointed out that Instagram is one of the most used platforms in India, but several BJP seniors do not have adequate knowledge of how it works. He instructed these senior leaders to be more active here. 

The BJP had been primarily focused on the elder section of the population in the country while there has been a lot of void for the younger generation. Particular, Gen Z is feeling left out of the scenario as they don’t feel they have adequate representation at the political level. 

This is precisely what was pointed out by Prime Minister Modi, and he seems to be bang on point with his analysis as well. It is time for the BJP Senior mechanism to seriously start analysing the Instagram reels algorithm, these social tools setting the narrative for any political party or movement.
