Jagan Says Naidu Stole Bhogapuram Airport Credit From Him!

There is this big “credit” war that is going on in Andhra Pradesh with YSR Congress accusing the NDA of falsely claiming credit for many of the development activities that they had done in their previous term. The upcoming Bhogapuram airport near Vizag is a new topic of discussion now.

While this mega airport project is set to be launched on August 1, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jagan has come out with a claim of credit for the same.

Jagan said it is his government, which did the work for this airport while Chandrababu is getting free publicity out of it. “Credit without contribution” is Chandrababu’s method of operation and this Bhogapuram Airport is a new memoranda of this, Jagan said.

Jagan attached an earlier video from 2023 where Nithin Gadkari is speaking about the Bhogapuram airport with Jagan, who was the CM at that point was also on stage. He is now trying really hard to project this airport project as his own brainchild rather than an achievement of the NDA government.

Jagan dismayed the fact that Chandrababu was the one who laid the foundation stone for this Airport in the first place before 2019. He claimed credit for bringing additional highway projects to this airport and initiating the construction contract process as well.

The fundamental fact here is that this airport was initiated by Chandrababu Naidu before the 2019 mandate. And now two years after his return to power, the same Babu is the one who is inaugurated it. The entire timeline is revolving around Chandrababu right from inception to execution so Jagan’s claim for credit could be inconsequential at the fundamental level itself.
