BJP Rules Out Alliance With Jana Sena In Telangana

The BJP is currently in a happy alliance with Telugu Desam party and Janasena in Andhra Pradesh. The cumulative NDA government is solid in power with Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan, expressing unconditional support to NDA alliance and its chief Narendra Modi.

However, it appears that this happy alliance is restricted only to Andhra Pradesh, and there will be no fragments of this in Telangana.

Telangana BJP chief Ramchandra Rao communicated today that the BJP will be contesting on its own in the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections. He denied the speculation that, collaborating with any party in the upcoming local election.

Rao said the alliance with Janasena is confined to the central level, and it will not be rubbed into Telangana at any given point in time. This pretty much confirms that there will be no synchrony between Janasena and BJP in the coming election.

While Pawan Kalyan had been holding Modi with such higher regard and vice versa, it would be natural to expect their alliance in Telangana, but that is not the case now. It is becoming increasingly evident that BJP and JSP will be contesting independently in the upcoming GHMC election.

The BJP will anyway be a strong force in Hyderabad and it is now the turn of Janasena to repeat the honours in the state. Historically speaking, JSP has not tasted favourable results in Telangana till now. But we have to see if the Andhra Pradesh victory will play a role in its revival in Telangana.
